| About this case study |
Selecting office sites within a city: The phrase "location, location, location" takes on real meaning. The data included in this case study provides enough information to effectively plan an office site location in the metro Detroit area. The problem presented in this case study is to locate three offices in the metropolitan Detroit tri-county area from a pool of fifteen possible sites. The office sites are dispersed as follows: five in both Novi and Troy, two in both Berkley and Southfield, and one in Royal Oak. Your assignment includes utilizing the databases provided to select office sites, making the maps you will need to navigate the unfamiliar territory, and defining service areas for the new office sites>Additionally,you will provide a report on the entertainment facilities in the area for the employees who will be transferred.To run the exercises in this case study,it is essential that you have the ArcView Network Analyst extension loaded on your computer.
